Your weekend will be based in Central Edinburgh and extend as far across Scotland as you want to travel.
The 2017 meeting will be based at venues within the City centre – the Monday meeting will be at St Andrew’s & St George’s (STAG) West Church in George Street and the Sunday gatherings will be at St Mary’s Cathedral in Palmerston Place, with the Evening Dinner and Ceilidh at the Ghillie Dhu in Rutland Place.
All these sites are in central Edinburgh and easily accessible from Waverley & Haymarket Railway stations, with good bus and tram links from Edinburgh Airport.
Help, information and meeting points
There is no headquarters hotel, but all our venues are located in Central Edinburgh, and we offer several convenient ways to meet up with other ringers.
A Help desk, providing information on the weekend's events, local transport, food and drink options, will be available in STAG, Edinburgh from 6.30 – 9.00 pm on Friday, this will move to St Mary’s on Saturday & Sunday and back to STAG on Monday.
Social Meeting point
A room will be available at the Standing Order, 62-66 George Street (Wetherspoons) for refreshment.
Committee Meeting Rooms
Rooms will be available at St Mary's Cathedral, on a first-come, first-served basis. Booking arrangements will be made available on this site closer to the meeting time.
It would also be possible to arrange a meeting or tour at the Tulloch Ringing Centre, which would be appropriate for certain committees.
