Inverness is the most northerly ring of bells in a church tower, in a picturesque setting on the River Ness.
Recent recruitment drives have new learners into the band. Inverness has supplied a ringer to the Tartan Spartans, Scotland's entry into the National Youth Striking Competition for two years' running, and he has recently called his first quarter peal.
Getting there
Train and bus stations 10 minute walk.
There is a public car park (Pay and Display) next to the Cathedral.
Facilities
There are toilets located inside the Cathedral. If the Cathedral is not open, there are toilets at the Eden Court Theatre next door.

Food and Drink
The Eden Court Theatre has a cafe, and there are also other cafes nearby. 10 minutes' walk to City Centre offers plenty of other options.
Interesting Facts
Inverness bells were infamous for the badly out of tune 9th bell and pink ringing chamber. However, all this changed in 2012, with a newly-cast ninth bell, and subsequent redecorations. Visitors are now in for a treat of a ring.
While in the ringing chamber, look out for the 'Beaufort Scale of Ringing', a reprint from The Ringing World of many years' past.
